Our Weight Loss Programs

A Holistic Approach to Your Health

At Aurora Bariatrics, we’ve designed a comprehensive, patient-centred weight loss program that goes beyond surgery. Our program combines the expertise of Perth's leading female bariatric surgeon, bariatric GPs, accredited dietitians, and a network of allied health professionals to support you at every stage of your journey.

We take a holistic approach to weight loss, addressing not just the procedure, but your nutrition, physical health, mental wellbeing, and long-term lifestyle changes.

Personalised for Your Needs

While at Aurora we have a passion for women and their unique needs, we recognise the different health challenges that both women and men have before and after bariatric surgery.

  • For women: We understand the challenges faced throughout the journey of womanhood. Whether it’s PCOS, fertility and pregnancy planning for the future, Type 2 diabetes, or insulin resistance. We also routinely screen for heart disease, high cholesterol and blood pressure, diabetes and osteoporosis. Our team will ensure your treatment plan aligns with your needs and lifestyle goals.
  • For men: There are different health factors you come across and for this we offer a Men’s Health, which includes assessing your risk factors for heart disease and diabetes, as well as checking hormone and vitamin levels. If fertility is a concern, please let your treating physician know so we can address it as part of your care.
